Thymus Therapy
Indications:

• deficiency of defence mechanisms and susceptibility to infections

Actively strengthening our defences: in our century, the highest life-expectancy yet has been reached. The proportion of elderly people in our society is rising continuously. The thymus gland is called the school of the immune system. In humans or animals, this gland produces important cells of the immune defence and above all plays an important role in influence over the aging processes of the body. Therefore a thymus treatment should be used if there are signs of a weakening defence of the body as well as illnesses depending on a defective immune system.

The thymus gland and its hormones have a central position in our immune system. This gland is behind the breastbone; it produces those cells of our defense system which can distinguish between foreign antigens and somatic antigens. This is a necessary presupposition for a functional defense against bacteria, viruses, fungi, cancer cells and other causes of illnesses. For this reason the thymus gland is called the focus of the defense system. In human and animal organisms this gland produces important cells of the immune system, it supervises and controls the immune defense; and furthermore its hormones have a great impact on the aging process of the body. This functions in the following way: the thymus gland produces a lot of proteins (thymus hormones) which contribute to the formation and maturation of new cells which keep the immune system going.

The Principle of our Therapy

The thymus gland is called immune modulator because it can stimulate and subdue. If the complete thymus extract is injected the immune status is stimulated which leads to a significant improvement of the life-quality in the case of very different illnesses. That does not mean that the thymus gland is a wonder cure but the thymus has a positive effect on the immune system. The immune system permeates the whole body so that it is made use of in the case of a lot of illnesses or stress in daily life (stress, chronic infections etc. ). We recommend a thymus therapy in the case of illnesses caused by a reduction of resistance (from the age of 40 onwards) as well as in the case of illnesses caused by a disturbance of the immune system.

Applying the THX therapy we pass the complete extract of the thymus hormones of young calves onto the patient so that we can work against this above mentioned process and make the immune-system more efficient again. In many cases we can already see an improvement after 2 Weeks which can also be proved objectively with the help of immuno-diagnostic tests. An additional medication with elements is very useful. A lot of immunological processes require the essential trace elements zinc and selenium. As we make use of a specific manufacturing process of the complete thymus extract we exclude any contamination and so get government certification. The extraction of the thymus is performed under strictly controlled sterile conditions; we don´t use any preservatives. The extract is shock- frozen at 80°C to preserve it and stored at the same temperature. We defrost it only immediately before usage so that we guarantee original packaging and efficiency.

The Treatment

The treatment is adapted to the complaints of the individual patient. Based on our experience we recommend a treatment of two to three weeks so that we achieve a satisfactory long-term effect. The patient gets a daily injection of that least 5ml. We offer in-patient or out-patient treatment.

Possible Side-effects

Reddening or itchiness can occur on the injection spot during the treatment. Quit often the body temperature slightly rises. This is not an incompatibility reaction but a sign of the desired activation of the immune-system. Contra-indication: allergy against beef.
